| China International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics & Accessories Fabrics and textiles from more than 850 exhibitors from China and around the world will be on display at Intertextile Beijing 22 – 24 March 2007, one of the apparel textile trade fairs in northern China. The show, this year held at both the Beijing Exhibition Centre and China World Trade Centre, will feature an array of fashion fabrics including cotton, wool, silk, linen, ramie, man-made, knitted and other materials along with many accessories. To fit all the products, forums as well as daily seminars, Intertextile Beijing 2007 has been expanded by 30%, incorporating 9, 000sqm more exhibition space spread across two venues for the first time. Along with the thousands of products on display, the show will provide visitors a taste of the future through the Interstoff Asia Trend Forum and the Fabrics China Trend Forum, designed to introduce visitors to the budding styles for spring and summer 2008. Overall, experts predict fabrics will be both natural and functional, while colours are predicted to pop. Romantic Pops. Airy and romantic while still being playful, the look is both feminine and sophisticated. Colours include pastels with soft shades punctuated by elements of vigorous colour. Fabrics are soothing and soft, with natural fluidity, embellished by appliqué and patterns including retro graphics and comic or plant-like prints. Splashing Modernity. A sharpened and refined look inspired by the 1960s. Colours are glittery and golden, with transparent, natural or textured fabrics including seersucker and double weave. Natural Labyrinth. A twist on the classics, infused with earthy designs and plant-themed patterns. Colours include deep grey green and khaki with airy materials such as mesh or gauze contrasted with jacquard and elaborate embroidery. Primitive Art. A rich and timeless look, with geographic art elements invoking history and culture. The colours are rich and dark, energized by metallic details while fabrics are opulent with handcrafted elements. Chinese fashion and design professionals will present a fashion forecast forum entitled Fabrics China, created by the China Textile Information Centre. This year, the forecasted themes for Chinese textiles are: 'Watercolour', 'Insight', 'Calling' and 'Pleasure'. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
