| IPTEC 2007 IPTEC, the tech transfer event focussing on business development and commercial use of technology licensing, presents some of the world's leading experts in technology transfer as conference speakers. IPTEC will be held again in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from 28 February – 2 March 2007. Representing the European Space Agency (ESA), their Head of Technology Transfer Frank M. Salzgeber holds a keynote presentation at the conference. As a research organisation in one of the most innovative sectors, aerospace, ESA has a large portfolio of patents and extensive experience in its management. The importance of investing in technology-driven business development is underlined by the key note presentation of Mike Addison and Nigel Trotman from Procter & Gamble. For SMEs there are special workshops and case studies focussing on strategies for business development through shared experience and transnational technology transfer. Peter Wolfmeyer, a leading member of the IRC network chairs a workshop dealing with trans-national tech transfer as a business development opportunity for SMEs. Additional to the conference programme and exhibition, "New Technology Presentations" will take place within the IPTEC marketplace, where companies, research institutes and universities will present their innovative technologies to the participants. IPTEC's participants comprise a mixture of networking partners from the following industry sectors: Advanced Materials, Consumer Goods, IT, Medical Technology, Nanotechnology, Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Environmental Technologies. The interchange between business partners from different industries gives room for cross-sectorial deals. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
