| Home-Garden-Leisure  The Leipzig region lies in the heart of the "New Eastern German Lake District". In the area of the "Leipzig Lakeland" alone, the shoreland is growing daily for a future 59 square kilometres of lake landscape. HOME-GARDEN-LEISURE will show for the first time the present and future of the tourism waterscape projects all around Leipzig. From 17 to 25 February 2007, numerous exhibitors in the Glass Hall at the Leipzig Exhibition Centre will be showing their products and services relating to the "New Eastern German Lake District".Water also plays a big part in the traditional garden area at HOME-GARDEN-LEISURE. Garden landscape takes as its title "Water Oases in the Garden". On a 1, 300 square metre area, six garden centres as well as horticultural and landscaping companies come up with some suprising contemporary water installations for the garden. The fair's organisers expect the upcoming HOME-GARDEN-LEISURE to feature more than 860 exhibitor stands, occupying an area of 54, 000 square metres with their new products and services for the garden, home, lifestyle and leisure. Visitors to one of Germany's biggest consumer and family fairs can expect entertainment, information, advice and shopping. At the last event in 2006, 172, 000 visitors took advantage of the springtime offers of 856 exhibitors from 16 countries. Once again in 2007, the mitteldeutsche handwerksmesse - Central German Handicrafts Fair will be held at the same time as HOME-GARDEN-LEISURE. In the range of fairs, this handicrafts display is one of the three skilled craft fairs with the highest attendance in Germany.
