| The 2007 Prepaid Card Expo The 2007 Prepaid Card Expo in Las Vegas will feature a new Payment Industry Update Track, nine new conference workshops, and over 130 exhibitors. HBO comedian Richard Jeni will headline the Inaugural Annual Industry Dinner and Prepaid Card Awards. The 2007 Prepaid Card Expo includes a new Payments Industry Update Track to provide an overview of the opportunities presented by, and the challenges of, the payments industry generally and card marketplace in particular, with an emphasis on those that impact prepaid and stored value cards and the various markets served by them. The 2007 Prepaid Card Expo will feature nine new in-depth workshops, including: Prepaid Cards 101 – Card Brand Perspectives; Processing Technology for Prepaid; Economics and Profitability of Prepaid & Stored Value Cards – An Overview; Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering; Recruiting & Retaining in Competitive Markets; Retail Gift Cards and Loyalty; and Marketing to the Unbanked & Underserved. In addition, the NBPCA, the trade organization for the prepaid card industry, will host two workshops representing each of its working groups – Government Relations, and Consumer and Media Education.
