| MPLS World Congress The European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC) announced that 13 vendors featuring more than 35 devices will demonstrate interoperability of advanced MPLS network services at the MPLS World Congress in Paris, France, this week. In a resilient and scalable inter-carrier scenario, IP, Ethernet, ATM and TDM services will be shown across an inter-carrier backbone. In addition, four vendors will demonstrate IP Multicast VPN interoperability. The multi-vendor network supports IPTV, mobile backhaul and business applications. The test event was organized by EANTC in collaboration with the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL). The German service providers T-Systems and Versatel reviewed the test plan and provided on-site support during the hot-stage test at the EANTC lab in Berlin. Participants, of which three are taking part for the first time, include Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco Systems, Foundry Networks, Huawei Technologies, Ixia, MRV Communications, RAD Data Communications, Redback Networks, Rohde & Schwarz SIT, Siemens, Spirent Communications, Telco Systems and ZTE. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
