| Brands of China at Spring Fair 2007 The Ministry of Commerce of Peoplefs Republic of China will hold the 4th European Showcase for Brands of China during the Spring Fair in Birmingham, UK, from 4-8 February 2007. With a view to further promoting the economic and trade cooperation and exchange between China and Europe, as well as to making Chinese brands better known among both the trade visitors and consumers in the European Union, the Ministry of Commerce of Peoplefs Republic of China will hold the 4th European Showcase for Brands of China during the Spring Fair in Birmingham, the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland . The 4th European Showcase for Brands of China will be located in Hall 16 of the National Exhibition Center (NEC) in Birmingham, UK, with roughly 3000 square meters and 85 enterprises. The Vice Minister of Commerce, Mr. Yi Xiaozhun will attend the opening ceremony which will be held by the Ministry of Commerce of China at 10F30am in Hall 16. The European Showcase for Brands of China has been successfully held for 3 times since 2004, contributed greatly to the maximization of the trade structure, further exploration of opportunities of cooperation and promotion of the economic and trade relationship between China and the European Union. The Ministry of Commerce of China has select 85 top brand enterprises. The exhibits on display include well-known brand Chinese products concentrically in the areas of gifts, stationery, textile and garments, kitchen utensils, bags and suitcases, house ware, garden facilities and small electrical appliances, with high technology content and the latest design in the respective fields. The purpose of holding the European Showcase for Brands of China at the Spring Fair in Birmingham is mainly to provide a platform for the European business circles to know about the branded products of China.
