From January 30 to February 1, 2007 Vienna's trade fair centre MessezentrumWienNeu is again at the centre of attention of the ITT industry. Organiser Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien and the partners, the Austrian trade magazine Computerwelt and EC Austria, will bring together experts of the industry at this annual trendsetting trade fair. In the third year of its existence, the ITnT had a clearly pronounced geographical focus on Austria and especially on the CEE and SEE countries. And this decision has shown to be the right one, since we clearly see the sustainable advantages for the industry and especially also for the relations between the new and the established members of the European Union.

As far as the thematic focus point telecommunications & solutions is concerned, the >ITnTITnT<, HSDPA was introduced. In 2007, technological innovations such as HSUPA will be presented. HSUPA is a future transmission method of the mobile radio communication standard UMTS which will make higher data rates in uplink possible – this will bring about higher transmission rates and transmission speeds from the mobile device to the base station. HSDPA and HSUPA in combination create a supportive working environment and make efficient mobile working possible.

Peter F. Mayer, editor of the Austrian magazine by the same title – "peter f. mayer" – will host a round table in the key note area in hall B. The CEOs of Austrian mobile phone companies will take their seat in the panel and examine the current issues of mobile broadband: What will come in 2007? How will the prices develop? What type of equipment will be on the market? How can mobile data communication be used efficiently? At the same time there will be the possibility to vote via short messages and participate in a quiz – the participants will answer the following question: "Will the numbers of mobile broadband connections surmount the numbers of ADSL connections by the end of 2007?".
