| ElectronicIndia 2007 From 6 – 8 February 2007, India's electronics industry will be gathering in New Delhi for the country's most important event in this sector: Componex/electronicIndia 2007, the 12th International Conference and Exhibition for Electronic Components, Materials and Production Equipment, will then be inviting the electronics community to come to the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Center. This year, about 800 companies from India and abroad have registered to exhibit, and the amount of exhibition floor space has grown by 30 percent, which means that the event now spans four halls instead of two. All this represents a new record in the number of participants and in the exhibition size for this leading regional trade show for electronic components and assemblies and for electronics production technology. Componex/electronicIndia 2007 includes many of the global industry's big names. Nevertheless, major regional players are also asserting their presence, as are a multitude of committed small and mid-sized enterprises from India and from the rest of the world. Germany, Great Britain, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are represented with their own national pavilions and offer SMEs from their region a strong presentation area under a single umbrella. For the area of components and assemblies, the exhibition portfolio for Componex/electronicIndia 2007 ranges from semiconductors and interconnect technologies to passive components and drive units and from test & measurement technology to displays. Among others, the electronics production area brings together the vendors who offer technologies for the manufacturing of components and printed circuit boards, for cable production and for materials processing, as well as providers of packaging and logistics solutions. As is the case every year, the technical exhibition for Componex/electronicIndia will be supplemented by a conference program on hot industry topics. The "International Conference on Contract Manufacturing: The Indian Perspective" on 7 February 2007 at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Center is a platform for both information and communication. In expert lectures, speakers from industry and commerce report on the technological and business aspects for EMS and ODM in India. The Indian subcontinent is generating an immense amount of interest, and that fact makes itself noticeable at the region's leading trade show for electronics: Componex/electronicIndia already stood out last year with a new record number of participants and 720 exhibitors from 25 countries – with numerous key players within the industry operating their own booths for the first time instead of being represented by their distributors. A total of 18, 500 visitors attended the show, and there were approximately 250 delegates for the accompanying technical conference. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
