| Sinaval-Eurofishing 2007 Glasgow, Rotterdam, Ancona, Agadir, Oslo, Lorient and, in Spain, Barcelona, Madrid, San Carlos de la Rápita, Vilagarcía de Arousa and Vigo, are just some of the places that have so far hosted presentations of forthcoming SINAVAL-EUROFISHING fair, which is scheduled to take place on January 24-27, 2007 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. The team in charge of marketing the event is making significant efforts to promote it at strategic points at home and abroad through meetings and interviews with associations of shipowners, fishermen's guilds, fishing federations, government bodies and specialist reviews, all of which are seen as determinant players in the sector. SINAVAL-EUROFISHING 2007 seeks to bring together firms from the electronics, propulsion engine, manufacturing and distribution sectors, shipyards, sector associations and public institutions. All these organisations still have time to register before the preferential early registration period with its special terms expires on December 31st next. This year's fair, in January, was the first to be held at the new Exhibition Centre with its top class facilities. It attracted a total of 475 leading companies from 29 countries all over the world and featured the latest developments, technologies and services in an exhibition area measuring 21, 000 square meters. Following the success of the technical seminars held early this year, which brought together top level politicians and experts including general secretary for fisheries Juan Martín and European Commission director for fishery structures Lea Verstraete, work has already begun on setting up the conference program for the 2007 event. SINAVAL-EUROFISHING has the backing of the Basque Maritime Industries Group, ADIMDE, and the Basque Maritime Forum, with which it has a co-operation agreement for joint action to promote the maritime and fishing sectors abroad. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Exhibition News :: home page |
