| 8th International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition Beijing will be the site of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Eighth International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition in China (IOGCEC), which will be held 5-7 December 2006. As in the previous seven conferences, the event is conducted with the full cooperation and support of the China National Petroleum Corp., the China Petroleum and Chemical Corp. and the China National Offshore Oil Corp. For the first time, since the beginning of the series, the technical conference and the accompanying technical exhibition will be held in the same facility, the Beijing International Convention Center (BICC), providing increased opportunities to network and convenient flow between activities for all participants. IOGCEC is planned to include technical presentations of more than 100 papers during three days of concurrent technical sessions. Additionally special sessions presenting business related topics, panel sessions with industry and technical leaders sharing their views on key trends and technical issues, and a range of social events will provide a very rewarding experience for conference delegates. CPS and SPE expect that more than 3, 000 technical professionals from within China, Asia and around the world will attend. Senior management from the supporting national oil companies together with their counterparts from multinational producing companies have committed to participate. The accompanying technical exhibition will feature not only producing companies and service companies but also organisations providing technology and technical services to the industry.
