| The International Health Tourism Exhibition 2006 The International Health Tourism Exhibition 2006, the only exposition promoting health tourism within the region, is slated to take place from 11 - 13 December 2006. The exhibition organized by Amadeus International Fairs Group is targeting exhibitors with the required infrastructure and facilities to receive medical tourists from overseas, in addition to comprising a healthy morsel of tourism potential. Exhibitors at IHT 2006 include hospitals, clinics, medical organizations, health resorts and spas, travel agents that offer health tourism packages, airlines, medical referrer's, tourism promotion boards, hotel's with special health facilities, health ministries and specialized publications, among others. IHT will provide a unique forum for effective networking, allowing doctors, professors and other experts in the medical field to exchange ideas and expertise, as well as allowing medical institutions in the region to compete in an international arena. The exhibition will also create a valuable platform to expose the Islands contemporary medical infrastructure to medical service seekers.
