| 2007 Cable Show The 2007 Cable Show, the premier annual international event for the cable and broadband industry, will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, May 7-9, 2007. It's the first time in two decades that the industry's largest gathering will be held in Las Vegas. The first round of exhibit floor commitments for The 2007 Cable Show has already locked-in 123 exhibiting companies, up 15 percent over last year's first round sales. Exhibition floor square footage is also up, by 7 percent. Earlier this year in Atlanta, The Cable Show (formerly The National Show) attracted 360 exhibitors that occupied more than 194, 000 square feet of exhibit floor space. As previously announced, NCTA has re-named the annual event The Cable Show to broaden its appeal as the industry expands into new areas of telecommunications.
