The latest technology for the generation of greater efficiency, precision and cost effectiveness will be on display. The modern exhibition halls, 1.0, 1.1 and 5, are completely booked out, comprising a net exhibition floor space of almost 19000 m2. The perfect infrastructure of this "Exhibition of Efficiency" allows for visitors to gather information fast and to plan for new purchases and investment which would enhance their competitiveness. The signs are very positive for a successful PRODEX 2006, especially in the light of taking advantage of the current economical upswing. According to "Swissmem", business is booming among its members, both domestically and abroad, and this is not least attributed to pronounced innovation and technological competitiveness among Swiss enterprises. The outlook for 2007 is even brighter. The Swiss Machine and Tool Traders Association, "Tecnoswiss", is also very pleased with the economic outlook, while industry suppliers are now in the vanguard of plucking up the courage to make new investments. A rising demand for suitably advanced, cutting-edge machine tools for turning, drilling, milling, grinding, and for electronic discharge machining, is now also coming from companies in the medical technology sector, as well as from the watch industry. Therefore the last weeks of 2006 can indeed be counted on for having a lot to offer by way of increased orders. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Exhibition News :: home page |
