BandTelTM, worldwide provider of SIP Trunking services, announced it has entered into an alliance with VegaStream, manufacturer of VoIP gateways. The partnership certifies that BandTel's scalable, fail-safe VoIP network is compatible with VegaStream's award-winning VoIP gateways. Both companies will be exhibiting at the upcoming Internet Telephony Conference, October 10-13 at the San Diego Convention Center.

The alliance enables VegaStream channel partners worldwide to offer an interoperable solution that combines BandTel's fault-tolerant, bandwidth-saving architecture and global network with reliable, cost-effective and feature-rich VoIP gateways by VegaStream. In turn, BandTel will offer VegaStream's high-performance VoIP gateways to its enterprise and call center customers.

VegaStream offers a wide range of award winning VoIP gateways that are highly reliable, cost-effective and easy to install and use. From the Vega 400 digital gateway - a carrier-grade platform that connects digital telephony equipment to the public network - to the latest Vega 50 family of analog gateways, all of VegaStream's products help streamline the introduction of essential VoIP services. Its various standards-based platforms enable enterprises to have access to mission critical VoIP services, and let carriers easily deploy services to any customer without requiring changes to their existing infrastructure.

BandTel's SIP Softswitch technology allows users to receive service from multiple BandTel switching centers at any given time. Its N-Plus architecture lifts the burden placed on even the most robust servers with a clustered architecture that eliminates the need for numerous IP addresses to numerous SIP proxies. Enterprise users deploying VegaStream's VoIP solutions with BandTel's network get the combined benefit of seamless integration - even in legacy environments - and the most flexible, reliable and cost effective VoIP system available on the market today.
