| Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference Restore Media, LLC announces the Traditional Building Exhibition and Conference will return to New Orleans, October 17-20, 2007. A national trade show and conference for architects, designers, contractors, developers, planners, building owners, historic home owners and craftsmen involved in restoration, renovation, and traditionally-inspired new design and construction, the Traditional Building Show is the one place where historic restoration and new traditional architecture come together under one roof. Show attendees will be able to choose from over 70+ educational seminars and workshops covering a wide array of topics and product segments, including window and sash repair, door and hardware installation, plaster repair, roofing, siding, ornamental ironwork and paint selection. Traditional building techniques, how-to information and old world craftsmanship will come to life in the Live Demonstration areas throughout the exhibit hall. Hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed more than 200, 000 homes and 18, 000 commercial and public buildings in Louisiana, and countless more along the Gulf Coast. With much of this region's architectural and urban heritage devastated this may well have been the greatest cultural disaster in American history. But through the resolve of citizens, leadership from the Louisiana Recovery Authority (LRA) and billions in funding, the region is poised to come back stronger than ever. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Exhibition News :: home page |
