First Annual NewWest.Net Real Estate

NewWest.Net announces its lineup of nationally and regionally recognized thought leaders for its first annual Real Estate and Development in the Northern Rockies conference October 5-6 at Missoula's Hilton Garden Inn. The event will showcase creative development projects from around the region and address many of the pressing questions that come with growth in the Northern Rockies.

Presenters include Dennis Glick of the Sonoran Institute, Juliet Eilperin, national environmental writer at The Washington Post, Russ Miller of Turner Enterprises, Collin Bangs of Coldwell Banker, Bill McDavid of Hall & Hall ranch brokers, Ted Gildred of Sun West Ranch, Justin Bigart of Sage Spas, Nick Kaufman of WGM Group, Steve Duerr of ANB, Jeff Harris, head of the Flathead County Montana planning department and Mike Story of the Story Cattle Co. and Outfitting.

The keynote panel, "Market Trends in Rocky Mountain Real Estate, " will feature original research from Chris Thornberg, a California-based economist who headed the UCLA regional economic forecasting project before starting Beacon Economics earlier this year. Jonathan Schechter, a Jackson-based researcher who has built a unique regional growth model, and Dave Kansas, the Money and Investing editor of The Wall Street Journal, will join Thornberg on the keynote panel.

The conference lead sponsors are the Missoula Organization of Realtors, the law firm Datsopoulos MacDonald & Lind and the electronics retailer Vann's.
