| 2006 FSA Suppliers Expo & Conference FSA, the voice of the global fabless business model, announces two keynote speakers at the 2006 FSA Suppliers Expo and Conference: Altera Corporation's president and chief executive officer, John P. Daane; and IBM Corporation's technology development and manufacturing general manager, Dr. Doug Grose. The event will occur October 11 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose. Mr. Daane's keynote speech, titled "The Evolution of Value Chains, " will highlight ways to navigate the ever-changing value concept within the evolving semiconductor industry. Mr. Daane joined Altera in November 2000 and was elected chairman of the board in 2003. Dr. Grose's keynote is titled, "Innovations through Collaborative Partnerships in the Semiconductor Industry." His speech aligns with his professional responsibilities that include the development and delivery of technologies that enable the innovative integration of IBM's computing systems. The theme for this year's FSA Suppliers Expo & Conference, "Make the Connection, " encourages the coming together of semiconductor industry professionals from around the globe to establish and cultivate business partnerships. The event will feature more than 100 exhibiting companies and host over 1, 500 attendees from fabless, IDM, OEM, supplier and service provider companies.
