Ethernet Alliance Members to Present at OIDA Workshop

The Ethernet Alliance, an industry group dedicated to the continued success and expansion of Ethernet technology, today announced its participation at the Optoelectronics Industry Development Association (OIDA) workshop, "100Gb Ethernet: The Next Challenge for Communications Systems", to be held on August 29 at the Dolce Hayes Mansion in San Jose, CA.

Members of the Ethernet Alliance, including Alessandro Barbieri and Joe Stewart of Cisco Systems and John D'Ambrosia of Force10 Networks, will participate in the session "100Gb Ethernet Network Perspective, " co-organized by OIDA and the Ethernet Alliance. The addition of eight new members also announced: Finisar, Kenet, Nexans, Plato Networks, PowerDsine, ProCurve Networking by HP, Quadrics, and the University of Toronto.
