| WEFTEC`06 Sets New Floor Space Ten weeks out from the the show's opening, WEF is pleased to announce a new record of 231, 580 net square feet of exhibit floor space for WEFTEC`06, the Federation's 79th annual exhibition and conference, which will take place, in Dallas, on October 21-25. The previous record of 216, 350 was announced earlier this year. This latest accomplishment continues a record-breaking year for the Water Environment Federation. Having already surpassed the previous floor space record of 213, 950 nsf in April, the Federation has also set a new record for exhibiting companies. To date, 872 companies have reserved space for WEFTEC`06 - exceeding the previous record of 869 set at WEFTEC`05 - and is expected to grow over 900 by the show's opening in mid-October. Recognized as the largest water quality event in North America, WEFTEC is a source for developments, research, regulations, solutions, and cutting-edge technologies in the water and wastewater fields.
