Hyundai Construction Equipment and Leica Geosystems extend 3D machine control offering to HD130A series dozers Hyundai Construction Equipment and Leica Geosystems extend 3D machine control offering to HD130A series dozers The Leica MC1 3D machine guidance system is now officially available as an aftermarket option for Hyundai HD130A series dozers, with all 2D and 3D configurations supported. (Odense, Denmark, 7 July 2026) Hyundai Construction Equipment and Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, now offer the Leica MC1 3D machine control system as an aftermarket solution for Hyundai’s HD130A series dozers, helping contractors improve grading accuracy, reduce rework and material waste, while seamlessly integrating advanced machine control into existing workflows. Building on a long-standing partnership, this aftermarket kit supports all 2D and 3D dozer configurations, enabling Hyundai operators to benefit from advanced machine control without compromise. Whether using on-cab setups, dual laser systems, total positioning stations (TPS), or dual GNSS on-blade configurations, operators can choose the solution that best suits their site and workflow. "By extending the Leica MC1 3D machine control system to our HD130A series dozers, we are giving our customers even more flexibility on site and a clear path to adopt advanced machine control across their Hyundai fleet, ” said Peter Sebold, Product Manager at Hyundai Construction Equipment. Why contractors are turning to 3D machine control The Leica MC1 3D system gives dozer operators real-time cut and fill guidance based on the design model, removing guesswork and reducing the need for rework. Contractors benefit from faster production, consistent accuracy, and the ability to get to grade in fewer passes. Upgrading has never been easier. Through established service teams and dealer networks, Hyundai dozers can be equipped with the Leica MC1 3D aftermarket kit as a plug-and-play retrofit, providing a scalable upgrade that integrates quickly into existing digital workflows, with minimal downtime and cost. „By extending Leica MC1 3D support to Hyundai’s HD130A dozers, the partnership further expands the availability of advanced machine control technology, enabling contractors to standardise digital workflows across their fleets and benefit from Leica Geosystems’ ecosystem of solutions, including Leica ConX cloud-based collaboration and easy-to-use stakeout solutions for foremen, “ says Martin Verdurmen, President of the Machine Control Division at Leica Geosystems.
