The FCCA investigates the asphalt market 21.5.2025 Press release The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) has conducted inspections at the premises of certain companies operating in the asphalt market. The FCCA is investigating whether the companies have engaged in prohibited cooperation between companies in the asphalt market. The inspection carried out under the Competition Act is an investigative measure taken by the authority. The inspection is not an indication that the company being inspected has committed illegal activities. The FCCA will issue its decision on the legality of the companies’ practices later, after the inspections and other investigations related to the matter are completed. The authority does not comment on the investigation while it is ongoing. |
