BAM Publishes Annual Report 2024 Building a Sustainable Tomorrow through Progress in Sustainability, including Decarbonisation and Diversity and Inclusion Bunnik, Netherlands – February 20, 2025 – Royal BAM Group nv has published its Annual Report 2024 today. The report highlights advancements in sustainability, including decarbonisation and diversity and inclusion, alongside its financial results exemplifying BAM’s mission of ‘Building a sustainable tomorrow.’ The Annual Report 2024 is the first report that is prepared in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Driving Climate Action BAM remains at the forefront of sustainability by further reducing its carbon footprint. The company continues to cut its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by electrifying its equipment and optimising biofuel use. As a result, BAM has achieved a 70% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO2 intensity in 2024 compared to 2015, moving closer to its target of an 80% reduction by 2026. Additionally, Scope 3 emissions decreased by 18% compared to the prior year. Moreover, BAM’s sustainability efforts have secured the company a place on the CDP Climate A List for the sixth consecutive year. Committed to Diversity and Inclusion The Annual Report highlights BAM’s belief in the value of inclusion to enhance our business and deliver sustainable growth. Diverse ideas, backgrounds and cultures are key to the organisation's success, underpinned by BAM's commitment to promoting gender diversity in leadership roles. By the end of 2024 the Supervisory Board achieved 43% female representation, surpassing the objective of 33%. The Executive Committee exceeded its target of 25%, achieving 40% female representation. Female representation in the Senior Leadership Group was up one percentage point from the previous year.
