Chillventa CONGRESS impresses again in 2024 with top-level presentations and international speakers 9/23/2024 The refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump industry will once again meet in Nuremberg to discuss the latest developments and innovations. The Chillventa CONGRESS is an all-day, top-level scientific event taking place at the NCC Ost Congress Centre, Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, on Monday 7 October 2024. Experts in refrigeration, AC & ventilation and heat pumps can look forward to around 50 presentations by prominent international speakers representing the fields of R&D and practical application. A separate ticket is required for this event. Once again in 2024, the Chillventa CONGRESS will be devoted to the top themes driving the industry, divided into four major streams. Professionals making the journey to the Congress will be able to take away valuable, up-to-the-minute knowledge, discuss with the speakers and engage in dialogue. Allowance has been made for these activities in the various presentation schedules. Tea breaks, lunch and the evening get-together for all participants and speakers also provide the ideal platform for expanding networks and engaging with like-minded contacts. The Congress will embody the concept of “Chillventa Connecting Experts”. Thematic overview: • ASERCOM & EPEE Symposium (English only): “The R-AC-HP Industry: Shaping a net Zero-Emissions World” is the topic for this stream, which will include specifics on implementing the F-Gas Regulation, the latest developments relating to PFAS, the interplay between environmentally friendly design, sustainability and legislative requirements, technological and geopolitical challenges on the way toward net-zero emissions and the key question of how the energy transition can be genuinely managed in practice. • Eighth Innovation Day for Refrigeration Technology: The Bitzer Chair for Refrigeration, Cryogenics and Compressor Technology at the Dresden University of Technology, in conjunction with the Deutscher Kälte- und Klimatechnischer Verein e.V. (German Society of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, DKV) and the Informationszentrum Wärmepumpen und Kältetechnik (Information Centre on Heat Pumps and Refrigeration, IZW) will present their current plans and research projects on subjects including high-temperature heat pumps (HTHP) in industry, water as a coolant, and mobile refrigeration systems. • Heat Pump Technologies (English only): In this series of presentations by the Information Centre on Heat Pumps and Refrigeration (IZW) on innovations and trends in heat pump technologies, the speakers will delve deep into themes such as energy-efficiency in industrial drying, heat pumps in a circular economy, pure coolants vs. zeotropic mixtures in heat pumps, safety with combustible coolants, steam compressors for heat pumps, thermal energy storage, and smart heat pumps. • Data centres: The fourth and last Congress stream, organized by the German Society of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (DKV), focuses on sustainable solutions for the energy-efficient cooling of data centres using waste heat. This covers the challenges posed by the German Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG), water-cooling as a heat supply, the current status of air-cooling, the new trends of liquid and immersion cooling, and heat and cold storage systems for fluctuating feed-in and withdrawal. Congress participants will also be able to watch all the presentations later in recorded format. The Chillventa Congress will close with a wrap-up of the individual Congress themes in the St. Petersburg Room (Level 2, NCC Ost): • 17:05-17:20: ASERCOM & EPEE Symposium • 17:20-17:35: Eighth Innovation Day for Refrigeration Technology • 17:35-17:50: Heat Pumping Technologies • 17:50-18:00: Data Centres Reserve your exhibition and congress ticket now Chillventa 1-day tickets and unlimited access tickets, and also congress tickets for 7.10.2024 are available only online in advance via the ticket shop.
