| PERI at bauma 2025: Innovations for a future-proof construction industry ![]() Whether it's a single-family home or a high-rise, a tunnel or a bridge – at bauma 2025, PERI will be showcasing exceptional exhibits for a wide range of construction projects. All of them aim to improve safety and efficiency on construction sites worldwide. This year, PERI is focusing in particular on the fields of residential and infrastructure construction. For instance, PERI will be presenting products for housing projects at a live marketplace and demonstrating how PERI systems and solutions significantly improve everyday work on construction sites. Additionally, the company will introduce a variety of digital tools that visitors can try out in Munich. A key focus across the entire portfolio is also the enhancement of sustainability. New developments in the 'Formwork' segment The new generation of MAXIMO Panel Formwork is the first of PERI's stand-out exhibits at bauma 2025. This single-side operable wall formwork combines the familiar benefits with new features that make construction site processes even more user-friendly and sustainable. For example, the PERIskin coating is applied during production of MAXIMO, which requires a fraction of the energy used in traditional coating processes. PERIskin also offers all-round protection against corrosion. What's more, with the new generation, scaffolding and formwork are now even more compatible. With SKYFLEX Slab Formwork, PERI is demonstrating that, in future, improvised slab formwork can be a thing of the past. With this system formwork, it is possible to form slabs over large areas and, by using girders that are mounted from a safe position below, they can be safely and flexibly adapted to the conditions on site. In addition, the polymer-based DUO Universal Formwork presented to visitors will include a number of new features. Sustainability was also a key aspect in the further development of the formwork, as well as new ways of making construction site operations even easier and more efficient. As such, it will now be possible to inspect the concrete quality during the concreting process. Further development and expansion of the PERI UP Scaffolding Kit With 'PERI UP Public', PERI will also be presenting new components at bauma 2025 that are used in the public sector. Stairs and access points that meet safety standards for public areas, are able to be used in a variety of ways and require practically no additional components, can be installed quickly and easily. Moreover, PERI will be showcasing the entire range of potential applications involving the PERI UP Scaffolding Kit. Accomplishing even more with fewer components is the key maxim of the PERI UP Scaffolding Kit and the basic idea behind the innovations that can be admired at bauma. Innovations for the civil engineering sector How can we build steel composite bridges faster and with higher quality concrete carriageway slabs? PERI will provide an answer to that question at bauma with the new VCT Composite Track. The system is already being used in Croatia and in the construction of the new Thulba viaduct. In what will be a real treat, visitors can look forward to seeing a replica of the impressive project in the PERI exhibition hall. The composite track has also been named as a finalist for the bauma innovation award in the construction sector. Two tried-and-tested systems will also be demonstrating their innovative potential at bauma. The VTC Tunnel Formwork Carriage and the SB Brace Frame facilitate shuttering and striking processes through the use of hydraulic units and can be moved automatically, which speeds up and simplifies tunnel construction processes considerably. With KERN Tunneltechnik SA, who will also be represented in the PERI exhibition hall, the portfolio for tunnel construction has also been expanded to include special engineering solutions and customised special machines. MH International is now also part of the PERI family. This company specialises in temporary solutions for infrastructure and renovation projects. The portfolio includes shoring systems for excavations, supports and spindles for work on existing buildings, temporary access bridges and sensor technology for all construction phases. At bauma, MH International will be presenting a number of solutions that further extend the range of PERI products. Digital innovations for real-life challenges Once again this year, PERI is dedicating a significant proportion of the exhibition to digital product innovations for the construction site. The key benefits of these innovations are that they make construction sites more manageable and improve safety in everyday operations. For example, the solutions from SYFIT GmbH, in which PERI acquired a majority stake in September 2024, can be used to manage materials and construction equipment digitally with automated tracking, precisely determine locations and optimise the utilisation of operating resources. This enables clear proof of ownership and can also counteract theft. The digital solutions that PERI will be presenting at bauma cover all phases of a construction project, from planning to implementation and management. For example, PERI will be presenting important updates for the QuickSolve planning tool at bauma. Digital tools for the construction phase will also be presented, such as the customer portal, myPERI. PERI will also be presenting new solutions that improve project management at bauma. Saving resources with concrete sensors PERI subsidiary VEMAVENTURI will be in the exhibition hall to demonstrate how sensor solutions can positively influence the construction process. Sensors are used to facilitate decision-making on the construction site and save resources. For instance, they communicate the pressure exerted on the formwork during concreting. From concrete pressure monitoring and temperature measurement for determining the degree of concrete maturity to determining the water content in fresh concrete, VEMAVENTURI will be exhibiting numerous types of sensors and how these, when combined with PERI systems, offer real added value. New developments in the areas of services, formwork accessories and formwork panels Visitors to the PERI exhibition hall will be able to see a number of new developments relating to formwork accessories. Safety on the construction site is a crucial topic. For this reason, the latest generation of PROKIT systems will be on display. For the concrete block industry, the focus at bauma will also be on some new features of PERI Pave. PERI Pave ReLife, which enables repairs to the panel surface, thereby increasing the service life of the Pave without any loss of quality, will be one of the features on show. Visitors to the PERI exhibition hall will also have the opportunity to find out what is on offer in the areas of refurbishment and used formwork and scaffolding systems – both of which are important contributors in terms of sustainability. Other partners and subsidiaries are also on board PERI’s portfolio is now multi-faceted and offers solutions that cover an enormous spectrum of needs. This is also made possible by subsidiaries and partners who will also be based in the PERI exhibition hall at bauma 2025. KERN Tunneltechnik SA, MH International and VEMAVENTURI will be joined by other companies on site. PERI 3D Construction, for example, is focused on the future of 3D construction printing. Solutions from SYFIT enable products to be identified and located digitally, resulting in improved planning and capacity utilisation as well as optimised processes on construction sites. dataform.work is a joint venture that is breaking new ground in the field of customised formwork, enabling a more agile response to special requirements. In addition, PERI will be providing both start-ups and the in-house ‘Future Products’ department with a platform at bauma to offer visitors a glimpse into the future. write your comments about the article :: © 2025 Construction News :: home page |
