It produces up to 3,500 strokes per minute with a 1-1/32" stroke length to get the job done faster. With 4 speed settings + orbital action you can select the best speed depending on the wood being cut. The 4-stage orbital action mode makes a noticeable difference in how fast you can cut, especially through thick pieces of wood. The blade moves slightly forward and into the workpiece on the upswing, then slightly backward on the downstroke for faster cuts. For more precision and control, a straight cut mode is ideal especially when cutting angles and details. Plus, the quick brake function stops the blade faster to increase safety and reduce delay for the user. Low vibration enables smooth cutting, while a slow startup speed ensures ease when aligning the blade to the cut line.
