| GWEC: Global Events in the run up to COP27 It's a busy time for the energy industry and the Global Wind Energy Council team is spread across the world engaging with industry leaders, political leaders and key regional players. Just this week the Asia team is hosting the Taiwan Global Offshore Wind Summit, while Chairman Morten Dyrholm and Market Development Director Emerson Clark have joined the LatAm team for Brazil Wind Power. There will be a large presence at COP27 in Egypt next month, with two weeks of events, meeting and bilaterals already planned. GWEC will also be hosting the Global Offshore Wind Summit – Japan on the 9-10 November. China Wind Power has been rescheduled to the end of November, but that won't stop GWEC's China team and some of the Market Intelligence team from being in Chengdu from 24-26 November. The final event on GWEC's calendar is Vietnam Wind Power taking place on 1-2 December. Last month the industry's focus was on WindEnergy Hamburg, with thousands of people in Germany for the first in-person event since before the pandemic. write your comments about the article :: © 2022 Construction News :: home page |
