Hochtief listed in Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the 16th year in a row

Hochtief has been included in the internationally renowned Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the 16th time in a row for its economic, environmental and social performance. The company is thus one of only three infrastructure groups listed in the DJSI World Index. The DJSI World ranks among the highest-profile indices for sustainability. Measured in terms of their sustainability performance, the index includes the top ten percent of companies in their respective sectors, based on the S&P Global Broad Market Index.

Alongside integrity, accountability, innovation and delivery, sustainability is one of the Group's guiding principles.

Hochtief aims to further enhance its leadership position in relation to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). To this end, all business units are working on the 2021 to 2025 sustainability plan, which will be finalized in the near future. The new framework comprises carbon reduction targets in order to support the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change.
