The contract is worth £168 million (€194 million at July 2021 average exchange rate). The project, known as The Pastures, is located on the University of Essex's Colchester campus in the UK, and is the third phase of student accommodation that Uliving will be delivering for the University of Essex, following the handover of Phase 1 in 2013 (1,420 bedrooms) and Phase 2 in 2018 (643 bedrooms). The works, which are due to start in September 2021, will be carried out by Bouygues UK, and will enable the new facilities to be made available for the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year. Facilities management services will be delivered for a period of 50 years by teams from Bouygues Energies & Services. Equitix is funding the project through bond issues. write your comments about the article :: © 2021 Construction News :: home page |
