Industry’s Only 36V MultiVolt Cordless Metal Connector Nailer

The Pro Preferred Brand of Pneumatic Nailers*, Metabo HPT announced the newest addition to its cordless nailer lineup with the 36V MultiVolt Cordless Metal Connector Nailer (model NR3665DA). This brushless nailer is engineered specifically for installing joist hangers and metal connectors to wood by using the Strap-Tite Probe Tip for precise placement of every nail, while offering the freedom and efficiency of being able to work cordless on any residential framing jobsite. It can easily drive 900 nails per charge** while delivering the "feel" of a pneumatic nailer - thanks to Metabo HPT's unique Air Spring Drive technology. As part of the expanding MultiVolt System of power tools from Metabo HPT it accepts any MultiVolt battery for extreme power and runtime AND accepts the unique AC Adapter (model ET36A) to plug in for all day runtime offering ultimate versatility and extending battery life. It's backed by Metabo HPT's Lifetime Lithium-Ion tool body warranty and two-year Lithium-Ion battery warranty for peace of mind.

This new cordless alternative for metal connector nailing produces high output energy and eliminates the hassle of having to navigate long hoses or compressors around or having to deal with gas cartridges, saving valuable time and increasing productivity. By combining the reliability of Metabo HPT's proven cordless nailer technology, along with the power of MultiVolt battery, this cordless nailer works all day long driving 1-1/2" or 2-1/2" paper collated fasteners ranging from .131" - .162" in diameter at 35°. Get 900 2-1/2" x .162" nails driven per charge with the included 2.5Ah MultiVolt battery. The Strap-Tite Probe Tip guides the nail into the pre-drilled metal connector hole without damaging the collation, ensuring each nail is precisely driven. Dry-fire lockout prevents accidental dry-fire and assures the nail is lodged securely. For increased user safety, this tool features a pivoting belt hook and side lock switch to prevent accidental firing. The brushless motor delivers more runtime, increased power, and extended durability with essentially no maintenance. With zero ramp-up time, there is no waiting for the tool to warm up – simply turn on the tool on the simplified control panel, and you're ready to go. The rear loading magazine is designed for quick replenishments and has the capacity to accept 31 paper tape nails at a time. A long-lasting non-slip rubber grip helps maintain superior control and comfort during use. The included 2.5Ah MultiVolt battery features a convenient battery charge indicator light and provides impressive power and runtime, allowing the user to work all day on just a single charge.

Perhaps the most unique advantage of ALL 36V MultiVolt cordless tools from Metabo HPT is the ability to be converted to corded use with the revolutionary AC adapter (model ET36A - sold separately). Users can conveniently get the functionality of two tools (cordless and corded) in just one. Use the NR3665DA cordless, however if the battery needs to be recharged and you have no spares ready, you can plug in with the AC adapter and keep going.

Once invested in the NR3665DA Cordless metal connector nailer, the same MultiVolt batteries that power this 36V tool can also power ANY Metabo HPT 18V tool with double the runtime when installed. Now contractors can flexibly add to their cordless tool arsenal sharing the MultiVolt battery across the 36V and 18V cordless tool platform for ultimate versatility thanks to the MultiVolt System advantage. MSRP $479.

The NR3665DA comes with (1) 36V MultiVolt 2.5Ah battery (371751M), rapid charger with USB port (UC18YSL3), 3mm & 4mm hex wrenches, safety glasses and a convenient carrying bag for storage and transport.
