| Hochtief wins EUR 580 million contract for A7 tunnel Altona in Hamburg Hochtief has been awarded by DEGES (German Unity motorway planning and construction company) the contract for construction of the complex 2.2-kilometer-long noise protection tunnel Altona on the A7 highway in Hamburg including access and exit roads. The project has a total volume of around EUR 580 million (net). Hochtief will take on the technical lead and has a 65 percent share in a joint venture. Work between the A7 junctions Othmarschen and Volkspark is expected to start in April 2021 and be completed by 2028.
