| Pöyry completes Owner's Engineer Services assignment for two combined cycle gas turbine power plants in Thailand Commercial operation for Amata B. Grimm Power (Rayong) 4 and 5 Limited (ABPR4 and ABPR5), was achieved as scheduled last June and October 2018, respectively. Each with a 130 MW capacity, the power plants are part of a fleet of combined cycle generation plants owned by B. Grimm Power Limited located within the Amata City Industrial Estate, Chonburi Province, Thailand. Pöyry provided Owner's Engineering Services for both power plants which included project management, design review, EPC contract administration and schedule control and erection and installation surveillance of the complete plant. Sumitomo Corporation and Toshiba Plans Systems and Services Corporation acted as EPC contractor. Each of the power plants consists of 2 gas turbine generator packages, evaporative cooling, fuel gas heating, 2 heat recovery system generators, fuel supply system, 110kv switchyard, MV/LV distribution system, and a state of the art DCS control system. The projects will ensure availability of efficient and reliable electricity and process steam to the thriving industrial estate.
