| Siemens to show comprehensive portfolio for smart buildings At ISH 2019, the international trade show for building, energy and air conditioning technology and renewable energies, the Siemens Building Technologies Division will present numerous innovations from its product and systems portfolio, as well as new digital services for customers. These portfolio additions from Building Technologies will enhance smart buildings, link products and building management systems to the cloud, connect disciplines, and make data available from anywhere and at any time. Building Technologies' extensive range of reliable and accurate building control products, multi-disciplinary building management systems and software offerings, all of which are easy to adapt to individual applications, are the foundation for digitalized buildings. As the leading smart building company, Building Technologies helps create more user-friendly and efficient buildings by turning data into actionable insights. Making buildings comfortable, safe and efficient remains the overall goal of Building Technologies' "Creating Perfect Places" initiative. Siemens to show comprehensive portfolio for smart buildings Building Technologies will present at ISH a variety of new cloud offerings, ranging from cloud connectivity solutions to cloud operations. Any building site or device can now be connected to the cloud easily and securely through the new Connect X300 gateway. This enables service companies, real estate managers, installers and solution providers to benefit from digitalization and modernize their business processes. Building Operator, the new cloud application, allows any of the connected sites or devices to be monitored and controlled remotely. Building Operator, as well as established cloud solutions such as Synco IC and Climatix IC, are now powered by MindSphere. As a result, existing customers can benefit from innovations on the MindSphere platform as well. Building Technologies will also exhibit a new version of its Desigo CC integrated building management platform which offers extended functionality. Highlights of Desigo CC V4 include connectivity enhancements supporting data transmission with KNX and M-Bus protocols for seamless integration, and the Flex Client, a new and easier-to-use remote operation client option based on HTML5 technology. Additionally, Building Technologies will demonstrate Desigo CC's new extended power management functionalities for better power quality and demand optimization. Desigo CC Compact, which was launched in the fall of 2018, will make its trade fair debut. The compact version of Desigo CC includes all essential features in one software package and was specially developed to meet the functional requirements of small and mid-size buildings. It makes it possible to operate different building systems on one intuitive user interface, enhances transparency and increases the productivity of building operations. Utilizing the modular Desigo CC platform, Desigo CC Compact is adaptable and can be expanded as needed. Complementing its portfolio of intelligent devices, Building Technologies will display the new Intelligent Valve range. These self-optimizing, dynamic valves with cloud connection for heating groups and air handling units optimize operation and increase energy efficiency. The devices control the flow rate, measure temperature and output, and adjust the valve settings to the heat exchanger. The Intelligent Valves can be configured in the cloud and then put into operation quickly and reliably through an app and Wi-Fi. The devices can be mounted flexibly and aligned to the space available. The flow sensor, valve and controller box can be mounted separately. The ability to load additional functions from the cloud at any time ensures that the Intelligent Valve is always up to date. Actuating DXR, a recent addition to the successful Desigo Room Automation portfolio, combines a room controller with a damper actuator for variable air volume (VAV) and fan-powered box applications in a single, compact unit. Consolidating the two products into one appliance reduces the installation time and cost because no cabling is required between the controller and damper actuator, and only one device needs to be mounted. A dedicated engineering corner will show a set of products, applications and tools for efficient engineering, commissioning, reporting and maintenance of Building Technologies' products and solutions. ABT Site is the engineering tool used for building automation systems from Siemens, while ABT Go is available as a mobile application for additional on-site efficiency. In addition to the trade fair highlights mentioned above, Building Technologies will be presenting further product innovations in building management, room automation and field devices. An additional focus will be Building Information Modeling (BIM) services and offerings for planners and architects. write your comments about the article :: © 2019 Construction News :: home page |
