| ‘Unseen Hero’ of museum glass displays ![]() The MNHA (Musée National d'Histoire et d'Art) in Luxembourg has selected Guardian Clarity to highlight, protect and preserve more than 250 items in its Urban Archeology exhibition, inaugurated in June 2017. The precious artefacts, recovered from the territory of Luxembourg City, take the visitors on a tour of its inhabitants' lives during the medieval and modern periods. Mr. Polfer, Director at the MNHA, comments: "Planning an exhibition is all about how it's going to work with the people; our role is to bring real things to them. In museums, the best glass is the one that you do not see, that does not disturb the visitors from looking at the objects. We can say it's mission accomplished with Guardian Clarity glass. Our scenographer's job was also much easier when it came to the lighting because he didn't have to fight against bad reflections." The 'Unseen Hero' of museum displays can be unseen at Exponatec, the International Trade Fair for Museums Conservation and Heritage, November 22-24 in Cologne, Germany. write your comments about the article :: © 2017 Construction News :: home page |
