| Hitachi Power Tools Starts a Battery Revolution Hitachi Power Tools (Hitachi Koki USA, Ltd.) is starting a cordless 18V Lithium Ion battery revolution with the announcement of its new everyday retail price for a Compact 3.0Ah Lithium Ion battery (BSL1830C – 339782) at only $39.99 and $29.99 for a 1.5Ah Lithium Ion battery (BSL1815X – 330139). These batteries are available at Lowe's and specialty dealers across the USA. Hitachi's Compact 18-Volt 3.0Ah Lithium Ion battery, model BSL1830C (339782) delivers all the power and run time of a conventional 3.0Ah Lithium Ion battery, but in a smaller footprint with less weight. The BSL1830C battery is ¾ of an inch less in height and weights 0.6 lbs less than a conventional 3.0Ah Lithium Ion battery (compared to Hitachi's model BSL1830). The Compact 3.0Ah battery makes any Hitachi cordless tool it powers lighter, more comfortable and highly convenient for the user. Now, with Hitachi's battery revolution, this unique Lithium Ion battery can be purchased every day for only $39.99. For those who might require less runtime per charge, Hitachi's 1.5Ah Lithium Ion battery, model BSL1815X (330139) is an excellent option. Its size and weight are about the same as Hitachi's Compact 3.0Ah battery, but it delivers about half the run time as a 3.0Ah battery, and can require more frequent charging depending on the application. For lighter duty jobs or occasional use, the 1.5Ah battery is ideal, and now retails for only $29.99. Both Lithium Ion batteries are equipped with Hitachi's Multiplex Protection Circuit to prevent over-load, over-charge and over-discharge that further extends their overall battery life. They are fully compatible with all Hitachi 18V Lithium Ion slide type tools for even more flexibility across Hitachi's expansive cordless line. All Hitachi Lithium Ion batteries are covered by a 2-year warranty for peace of mind. While keeping the lightweight and portable philosophy in mind, Hitachi has recently introduced many innovative cordless tools to the market that utilize the new Compact 3.0Ah batteries. Hitachi's Triple Hammer Impact Driver, model WH18DBDL2 is the first of its kind to incorporate a third anvil to generate more power, more torque, a higher impact rate, all the while reducing vibration delivered in an extremely lightweight tool body (only 2.9 lbs with the Compact 3.0Ah battery!). Additional innovation can be found in Hitachi's 18V Cordless Framing & Finish Nailer lineup that features Hitachi's Air Spring Drive System to deliver similar performance as a pneumatic nailer, but in a cordless package with zero ramp up time, 2-3 nails driven per second, recoil that feels like a pneumatic and no refilling of the air tank required. All Hitachi Cordless Nailers come with the Compact 3.0Ah battery as well. write your comments about the article :: © 2017 Construction News :: home page |
