| BAM Supervisory Board: appointment of a new member The Supervisory Board of Royal BAM Group nv intends to nominate Mr P. Sheffield CBE for appointment to the Supervisory Board at an extraordinary general meeting on 24 August 2017 for a period which will end with the general meeting of shareholders in 2021. This nomination is related to the vacancy arising (as announced on 21 February 2017) from the retirement of Mr P.A.F.W. Elverding from the Supervisory Board for health reasons after the annual general meeting on 19 April 2017. Paul Sheffield (1961, British) worked from 2014 to early 2017 with Laing O'Rourke, one of the largest private construction companies of the United Kingdom. As member of the Group Executive Committee he was responsible for the activities in Europe and the Middle East and also closely involved to the innovation initiatives of this multinational construction and engineering company. Previously he worked for 31 years with Kier, the British construction and property development group which is listed on the London stock exchange, serving the last four years as its chief executive officer. Before his appointment as CEO, he fulfilled several management positions and build international experience in Hong Kong and the Middle East. Mr Sheffield is a civil engineer. Due to his longstanding career with large British construction companies, Mr Sheffield has extensive experience and expertise with regards to the construction industry in the UK which is BAM's second largest home market. Since 2015, Mr Sheffield has been a non-executive director of Southern Water Services, which offers water supply and wastewater services for Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. As previously announced, Mr Elverding will be succeeded as chairman of the Supervisory Board by Mr H.L.J. Noy at the conclusion of the annual general meeting on 19 April 2017. Mr H.
