| Skanska expands hospital in Vestfold, Norway Skanska has together with Cura-gruppen signed an agreement with Sykehuset Vestfold HF for the expansion of the hospital in Vestfold, Norway. The contract is totally worth NOK 1.7 billion. Skanska's share of the contract is worth about NOK 960M, about SEK 1.0 billion. The work is carried out by Skanska Norway (70 percent) in cooperation with Skanska UK (30 percent). This means that about SEK 700M will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter 2017 and the remainder in the order bookings for Europe in the same quarter. The project includes a new psychiatry building with a gross floor area of about 12,000 square meters and a building for somatic care of 33,000 square meters. The project also includes alignment of the infrastructure, energy facilities and demolition of existing hospital buildings. The contract is based on the IPD model (Integrated Project Delivery), where the parties will cooperate in the implementation phase with common incentives, also including subcontractors. For the project, Skanska has gathered expertise from Norway, Sweden, UK and USA. Construction work has begun.
