| BAM Danmark has been awarded design and build contract for office building in Copenhagen ![]() The former Carlsberg brewery complex is situated next to Copenhagen's city center. Carlsberg moved its beer production to a location in Jutland in 2008, except for Jacobsen House Brewery, where special beers are brewed. The thirty-hectare area is redeveloped into Carlsberg City, based on a masterplan by the Danish architecture agency Entasis. While preserving the historical buildings the new district provides seat to thousands of houses, shops, cultural facilities, sports facilities, offices and an educational campus with a new railway station. Harild Hus has six floors. Architects are Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter and NORD Architects Copenhagen. BAM Danmark will complete the project in November 2018. BAM Danmark was founded in 2014 by Royal BAM Group and has delivered several successful projects, including an office for the Department of Micro and Nanotechnology and a biotechnology research centre, both for the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). write your comments about the article :: © 2017 Construction News :: home page |
