FC360 fire control panel

Siemens Building Technologies Division has announced the introduction of the FC360, an addressable 1-loop fire control panel. The FC360 is part of Cerberus FIT, a fire safety system developed specifically for use in smaller buildings and facilities. With the FC360, Siemens targets the fast-growing market for smaller fire safety systems that are easy to install and operate, thus optimizing the system's total cost of ownership. The FC360 supports the connection of up to 126 C-NET detectors and other peripherals, including the highly reliable fire detectors from the Cerberus Pro series featuring the patented ASAtechnology (Advanced Signal Analysis) which offers immunity against deceptive phenomena and prevents false alarms. The detectors and peripherals are connected via a loop installation, which reduces cabling and significantly improves the reliability of the entire installation thanks to redundant communication paths.

The FC360 fire control panel has a straightforward and intuitive user interface, including LED indicators with self-explanatory icons and an easy-to-read display. This allows for a quick and appropriate response in an emergency situation. In addition, the control panel offers an integrated configuration tool which makes commissioning faster and easier without requiring additional software. An offline Desktop Editor is available to view site configuration and amend as necessary. In addition, the tool provides installers with self-learning opportunities by creating a virtual setup. This quickly builds solid expertise and reduces training cost and effort.

As an addressable 1-loop fire control panel, the FC360 is particularly suited for smaller and medium-sized buildings, such as nursing homes, shared housing and smaller hotels. The FC360 meets the latest standards and is certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to EN54-2 & 4 as well as EN54-13 system approval.
