| Arcadis appoints new Head of Transportation and Logistics Consulting in Asia Arcadis, the leading global Design & Consultancy firm for natural and built assets, announced the appointment of Dr. Jonathan Beard to lead its transportation and logistics sectors in Asia. A veteran with over 20 years' industry experience, Dr. Beard joins Arcadis to further strengthen its transportation and logistics business in Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Dr. Beard has advised on transportation policy and infrastructure development finance in over 25 countries. He has also guided master plans for some of the world's largest and most successful ports, including Shanghai, Hong Kong and Port Klang in Malaysia, as well as the logistics development strategy for several major airports, including Hong Kong International Airport and Beijing's New Second International Airport. In his new role, Dr. Beard will be responsible for further developing Arcadis' strategy in transportation and logistics and elevating Asia business propositions. Dr. Beard holds bachelor's, master's and PhD degrees from Cambridge University.
