| Pöyry awarded Owner's Engineer services assignment for state-of-the-art metro extension in Brazil The Metro Company of São Paulo has awarded Pöyry with the owner's engineer services assignment for the Line 4 metro project in São Paulo, Brazil. The assignment includes project management oversight consultancy services, covering technical and financial reports on the development of the project, provision of additional process tools to ensure that the project meets the cost, schedule and quality objectives. Fully underground, 'Yellow' Line 4 will be extended from the João Teodoro Ventilation Shaft, north of Luz Station, to the Vila Sônia Station and maintenance yard, passing underneath Avenida Ipiranga, Rua da Consolação, Avenida Rebouças, Rua dos Pinheiros and Avenida Francisco Morato. 14.3 km-long, Line 4 consists of 11 stations, built in two stages, with the first implementation stage of 12.8 km already in operation.
