| CIMIC's CPB Contractors wins Gold Coast Light Rail Stage Two CIMIC Group company, CPB Contractors, has been selected by GoldLinQ Pty Ltd to design and construct Stage 2 of the Gold Coast light rail project. The contract will generate revenue of approximately $200 million for CPB Contractors, with construction scheduled to commence in April 2016 and conclude in late 2017. CPB Contractors will deliver a 7.3km northern extension of the Gold Coast light rail from Gold Coast University Hospital to Helensvale, to connect Stage 1 with the main Brisbane to Gold Coast rail line. Stage 2 is critical to meeting the increasing demand for public transport and to support the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
