| Mott MacDonald appointed on Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework, UK Mott MacDonald has been appointed on lots one and two of the new Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS) framework in the United Kingdom. Under these lots, public sector organisations such as schools, emergency services, central government departments and devolved administrations will be able to commission a wide range of services from the consultancy's digital specialists. The framework is the latest feature of the UK Government's Digital Marketplace online resource, which will allow public sector bodies to commission digital services and specialists more efficiently and effectively. Users of the Digital Marketplace will be able to liaise closely with service providers before awarding a contract, allowing for detailed briefs to be drawn up in line with the commissioning organisation's needs and budget. Umbrella contracts will also be utilised, saving time and money when compared to drawing up specific tender contracts. As well as these savings, these efforts to streamline the procurement process will aid the sector's digital transformation by providing greater access to service providers and an improved end service. write your comments about the article :: © 2016 Construction News :: home page |
