| SNC-Lavalin awarded contract for operations support services by Emirates Global Aluminium SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC) has been awarded an engineering services contract by Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) to provide operations support services to EGA's two aluminium smelters in the United Arab Emirates – namely Emirates Aluminium (EMAL) and Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL). SNC-Lavalin will provide engineering packages and manpower services to DUBAL and engineering and project management services to EMAL Engineering to ensure optimal delivery of a portfolio of projects and operations support. The services shall cover all engineering disciplines and project management areas. Under this new agreement, all engineering work and support services will be executed by employees in the Middle East and by aluminium smelting and power specialists in Canada and in the United States.
