| 11 GREEN CREATIVE products selected for the IES 2015 Progress Report GREEN CREATIVE announces the selection of 11 products by the Illuminating Engineering Society for the 2015 Progress Report. This year GREEN CREATIVE saw a combination of incandescent, halogen and fluorescent lamps and fixtures chosen. Each year the Illuminating Engineering Society's (IES) prestigious Progress Report showcases unique and innovative products significant to the lighting industry. The IES Progress Committee is dedicated to following developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world and prepares the Progress Report as a yearly review of achievements for the Illuminating Engineering Society. Accepted products will appear in the January 2016 issue of LD+A magazine. Submitting products for the third year in a row, GREEN CREATIVE had 11 of its submissions chosen. "We are honored to have more of our products than ever selected for the 2015 IES Progress Report," says GREEN CREATIVE's Product Manager, Taylor Schaberg. "The variety of retrofit solutions that were recognized this year shows our dynamic ability to stay on top of the latest in LED innovation." Two incandescent replacements recognized were the BR30 11W CLOUD HIGH CRI E26 and GU24 lamps. These ENERGY STAR certified lamps feature a revolutionary design that is 60% lighter than the previous generation BR30s with a high color rendering index of 90. Joining the BR30 CLOUD lamps in the 2015 Progress Report are three more incandescent replacements: the A21 18.5W HIGH CRI, A19 11W HIGH CRI GU24 and the A19 9W HIGH CRI lamp. These ENERGY STAR certified lamps replace 100W and 60W incandescents and feature a high color rendering index of 90. For halogen replacements, GREEN CREATIVE saw its 75W replacement MR16 lamp accepted into the Progress Report. At just 7.5W, this lamp emits 505 lumens, making it the most efficient high CRI 75W halogen replacement available. This dimmable lamp is available in spot, narrow flood and flood beam angles and three color temperatures with all models exceeding ENERGY STAR's center beam candle power (CBCP) requirements for 75W equivalents. GREEN CREATIVE had its first fixture selected this year with its ASPIRE Track 33W designed to replace a 39W CMH. This high CRI 90 fixture features an integrated driver, superior candela and a smooth face MirOptic lens. The fixture comes with a field changeable optic allowing the end user to switch between narrow flood and flood beam angles. GREEN CREATIVE also had its first fluorescent replacements recognized by the IES with its PL EDGE Series DIR lamps. The PL V 11W DIR, PL V 11W DIR HIGH CRI, PL H 11W DIR and PL H 11W DIR HIGH CRI lamps are CFL retrofit solutions for a variety of existing horizontal and vertical lamp installations. All PL lamps are compatible with G24q and GX24q (4-pin) installations and feature ballast smart control technology which allows for compatibility with 13W, 18W, 26W, 32W & 42W ballasts. write your comments about the article :: © 2016 Construction News :: home page |
