| Work site intelligence with drone analytics  Caterpillar Inc. continues to work with key industry players to help dealers and customers benefit from significant advancements in the fields of data analytics and drone technology. Caterpillar announces an exciting new marketing agreement between Redbird and Caterpillar in its Europe, Africa and Middle East region. Redbird, established in 2013, is a pioneer in the acquisition and analysis of aerial data collected by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or drones. Redbird's ability to both collect drone data and provide analysis of that data using cloud-based, proprietary algorithms offers significant benefits for customers.Developing relationships with a broad variety of companies like Redbird will accelerate Caterpillar ability to help customers become more productive, make better business decisions and optimize their operations.
