Employees' Choice Award winners are determined by the feedback of current and former employees collected through a survey about their role, work environment, and company. Turner is the only construction company included in the list, and the company's rank of 36—up two places from 2015—speaks to how positive Turner employees continue to be about their work, their team members, and the future of the company. This is a reflection of Turner's culture, every element of which is driven by a deep respect for people. When it comes to safety, that respect means the company is committed to sending every worker home safely every day. In addition to the safety activities Turner leads on a daily basis, the company also holds an annual Safety Stand-down, stopping work on 1, 000 jobsites to deliver important safety messages to more than 40, 000 workers.
