Bilfinger wins three building construction orders

The engineering and services group Bilfinger has won new building construction orders with a total volume of about €50 million in Heilbronn, Regensburg and Frankfurt am Main.

In Heilbronn, Bilfinger will carry out the design and turnkey construction of a four-floor health centre. The upper floors will house doctor's offices and a day clinic. The client is energy utility ZEAG, which will utilize parts of the basement and ground floor to accommodate a medium-voltage switch system.

In Regensburg, Bilfinger is involved in the conversion of the former Bajuwaren army barracks into an initial registration centre for approximately 300 asylum seekers. The project, spread across five buildings, will include administration areas for the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, space for health and social services as well as housing for asylum seekers.

In Frankfurt am Main, Bilfinger is transforming an eleven-floor office property with 3,000 square meters of floor space in the city's Sachsenhausen district into a modern residential space. In addition to the more than 80 residential units, there will also be retail space in the ground floor and an underground parking garage with 90 parking spaces. The property is part of the portfolio of MEAG, which is responsible for asset management for insurance companies Munich Re and Ergo.
