| Arcadis wins €12 million Grand Paris Metro extension work  Arcadis, the leading Design & Consultancy firm for natural and built assets, has been awarded an extension to the initial contract for the ambitious "Grand Paris Express" metro lines to provide project and program management services. The additional 15 year contract represents a total value to Arcadis of more than €12million.The Grand Paris Express program spans over 200 kilometers of new metro lines and will mainly be realized underground. The extension to the initial "red" line contract (100km, 40 stations), will cover the "orange" line (26km, 10 stations). The additional investment in Parisian subway infrastructure will amount to €3.5billion. The Grand Paris masterplan includes investments in above and underground transportation, stations, buildings and social infrastructure projects in order to enhance the economic dynamism in the Paris region. The red and orange subway lines are among the first major investments in the Grand Paris masterplan.
