| Vinci acquires Orteng Engenharia e Sistemas and boosts its positions in Brazil Vinci Energies has finalised the acquisition in Brazil of the Orteng Engenharia e Sistemas S.A. company headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Founded in 1977, Orteng designs, builds and maintains electrical equipment, PLCs and turnkey solutions, primarily for the energy, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. With this acquisition, Vinci Energies boosts its positions in the Brazilian market and becomes a leader in services for the manufacturing, energy and transport infrastructure sectors. Vinci Energies is expected to generate annual revenue of around €170 million in Brazil. Vinci Energies, one of Vinci's three business lines of its Contracting business, operates in about 50 countries, including some 30 countries outside Europe. It has 63,000 employees and generated €9.3 billion revenue in 2014.
