| BAM wins contract for large university hospital in Basel, Switzerland BAM has won a contract to build the new Felix Platter-Spital in Basel, which will have 240 beds and will be the largest center of Switzerland for academic geriatric medicine and rehabilitation. BAM's project share is approximately €70 million. The building plans are developed by a joint venture of two BAM-companies (BAM Swiss and BAM Deutschland) and the Swiss construction company Marti together with the architects wörner traxler judge planungsgesellschaft mbh from Frankfurt am Main and Holzer Kobler Architekturen from Zurich. The Board of Directors of the hospital has chosen BAM's proposal out of a total of nine proposals. The construction will start in mid-2015.
